EMIR 3 SIMM Approval-Scope Classifier

🔒 All inputs are processed locally in your browser. No data is transmitted. Do not enter real personal data — use synthetic or anonymised inputs only.
Scope
Classifies regulatory obligations only, under EMIR Article 11(12a) and 11(15) as amended by Regulation (EU) 2024/2987: which EMIR 3 initial-margin model-approval duties apply to a declared counterparty profile. Distinct from art-576's Active Account Requirement classifier (the clearing-obligation track, not the model-approval track).
Deliberate boundary
Carries zero ISDA SIMM methodology content: no risk weight, correlation, bucket, or sensitivity math, and no reproduction of any ISDA document (licensing). No ISDA endorsement is expressed or implied. Methodology-level verification of an actual initial-margin model is deliberately absent from this tool. The implementing RTS and Guidelines on initial-margin model authorisation were at public-consultation stage (17 March - 17 June 2026 per EBA) and not yet finalised as of the 2026-08-07 build date. Treat any NCA-timeline figure here as the published process expectation, not settled binding text. Not legal advice.
